桂林理工大学“无机材料与固体化学”课题组博士后招聘启事

  岗位: 博士后研究助理2名,其中高温高压制备和材料计算方向各1名。

  工作地点:桂林理工大学材料科学与工程学院

  合同类型: 全职、期限2年,可按师资博士后进站,聘期结束考核合格后可转为正式教职工

  待遇:

  (1)年薪制:税前年薪依据聘期工作业绩按照三个等级划分:等级A, 27万元人民币;等级B, 24万元人民币;等级C, 21 万元人民币。聘期初始年薪为等级C,当在Chemistry of Materials, Chemical Science, Advanced functional Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, 或者其他相当的期刊上发表论文时,年薪提高至等级B;或者当在Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Materials, Energy and Environmental Science或者其他相当的期刊甚至更好的期刊上发表论文时,年薪提高至等级A。新的年薪将适用于整个合同期,也就是以往聘期的年薪差额将会被补发。

  (2)其他:学校提供5万元的科研启动经费;博士后在站期间博士后配偶随博士后流动,学校对其配偶安置临时性工作,如配偶不随博士后在站期间流动,学校将按照相关规定给予博士后在站期间每月500元作为博士后配偶的补贴(最多发放2年);其他额外补助需面议;小孩入托和入学可安排在桂林理工大学附属幼儿园和小学。(备注:师资博士后进站时也可申请按照当年引进博士人员标准(20-40万元)领取安家费。)

  工作内容和职责:利用高温高压系统、低温拓扑还原等多种方法制备新化合物和材料,测量离子导电、介电/铁电/磁性以及其他功能性质,利用粉末X-射线和中子衍射、透射电镜、固态核磁共振谱等互补手段研究晶体结构和缺陷结构,并结合分子动态模拟和第一性原理计算等理论计算开展结构-物性关系等机理研究;定期向课题组负责人汇报和讨论工作,起草、修改以及在具有影响力的学术期刊上发表研究论文。

  要求:已获得无机化学、材料科学或者凝聚态物理方向的博士学位;具有良好的晶体结构知识,在无机固体化学/物理、固体材料计算化学/物理、固体高温高压合成、或者透射电镜等方向具有一定研究经验者优先。

  合作导师介绍:匡小军,研究员,博士生导师,国家优秀青年科学基金获得者。1999年7月毕业于江西南昌大学化学系获理学学士学位;2004年6月毕业于北京大学化学与分子工程学院无机化学专业,获理学博士学位,师从林建华和荆西平教授。2004年8月-2010年7月期间,先后在英国Liverpool大学化学系Matthew J. Rosseinsky教授(英国皇家学会院士)课题组和Durham大学化学系Ivana R. Evans博士课题组从事博士后研究。2009年入选中山大学‘百人计划’,2010年7月-2013年3月于中山大学化学与化学工程学院任副教授和硕士生导师。2013年3月入职桂林理工大学,先后获得教育部2013年度“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”、首届广西高校引进海外高层次人才‘百人计划’,2014年度广西自然科学基金杰出青年基金,第18批广西“新世纪十百千人才工程”第二层次人选和2016年度国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金等人才计划的支持,2017年获得第14届广西青年科技奖。主持5项国家自然科学基金项目和5项省部级项目。研究方向为无机材料与固体化学,从事介质材料和固态离子导体等电子功能陶瓷材料的合成,性质、结构及构效关系等基础研究,利用包括粉末衍射、透射电镜和固态核磁共振谱在内的多种互补方法确定材料的晶体结构和局域缺陷结构,在原子级层次上理解结构对电性质的作用机理。目前以第一或通讯作者身份Nature Materials、Nature Communications、Journal of the American Chemical Society、Angewandte Chemie、Chemistry of Materials、Journal of Materials Chemistry (A/C)、Advanced Electronic Materials、Inorganic Chemistry等国际著名期刊上发表40余篇学术论文。 

  课题组研究条件:依托有色金属及材料加工教育部重点实验室和广西光电材料与器件重点实验室等研究平台;重点实验室具有粉末X-射线衍射仪,透射电镜、X-光电子能谱、扫描电镜、拉曼光谱等大型仪器;材料科学与工程学院具有材料科学与工程一级学科博士授予权;课题组现有实验室面积350平米,课题组内目前具有带高温附件的变温粉末X-射线衍射仪、Walker型多面顶高温高压制备系统、Solartron交流阻抗仪和电化学界面、低温电学测试系统、热分析仪等材料研究设备和用于理论计算的服务器;课题组与法国高温材料所、美国NIST中子中心以及北京大学化学与分子工程学院等国内外著名科研单位具有密切的合作研究。课题组为团队成员提供在科研合作单位进行学术进修和研究访问的机会。

  Postdoctoral Research Associates on Inorganic Materials and Solid State Chemistry

  Post: 2 Postdoctoral Research Associates on high-pressure synthesis or materials computation

  Contract Type: Full time & Fixed Term (24 months)

  Salary: Grade A, RMB 270000 / Grade B, RMB 240000 / Grade C, RMB 210000 per year pre-tax depending on the publications during the employment: the initial salary will be on Grade C, which will be promoted to Grade B when the publication in the level-B journals including Chemistry of Materials, Chemical Science, Advanced functional Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, and the other comparable journals was achieved, or to Grade A when the publication in the level-A journals including Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Materials, Energy and Environmental Science, the other better top journals e.g. Nature materials was achieved; the new salary grade after promotion is applicable to the whole contract terms.

  Other benefit: The postholder will be funded by GUT with a start-up fund of 50000 RMB on the research activities. During the employment, additional spouse allowance of 500 RMB each month will be also offered to the postholder. The education for the kids for the postholder may be arranged in the GUT-Affiliated primary or nursery schools.

  Job Description:

  The postholder will prepare new substances and new materials using the methods of high temperature/high pressure solid state reaction. The ionic conductivity, dielectric, ferroelectric, magnetic and other functional properties of new compounds and materials will be characterized. Powder X-ray and neutron diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (through collaboration with Dr. Mathieu Allix in CNRS CEMHTI Laboratory) and other means will be employed to carry out the crystal structure and defect structure analysis to establish the structure-property relationship combined with molecular dynamics simulation and the first principle calculation. The postholder is required to carry out the research work efficiently, make regular report and discussion to the group leader, and draft manuscripts for publications in internationally well-recognized journals on chemistry and materials.

  Person Specification

  EssentialHaving a PhD degree in Inorganic chemistry, materials science or condensed matter physics, good knowledge of crystal structure and experience on computational chemistry/physics in solid materials or high-temperature and high-pressure synthesis.

  Desirable: Experience iinorganic solid chemistry/physics, and transmission electron microscopy is highly desirable.

  Collaborator supervisor:

  The research activities are supervised by Prof. Xiaojun Kuang, who is holding a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grant for the Excellent Young Researcher. Dr. Kuang received his PhD degree in inorganic chemistry from Peking University in June 2004. In 2004-2010, he did his postdoctoral research in University of Liverpool and then in Durham University in inorganic materials and solid chemistry. He returned back to China in July 2010 and had been working in Sun Yat-Sen University from 2010 to 2013, and then joined Guilin University of Technology in March 2013. His research work is on inorganic materials and solid chemistry, mainly engaged in synthesis, structure, physical properties and the relationship between structure and property of solid ionic conductors and dielectric materials. As the first author or corresponding author, He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers on the journals including Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, Chemistry of Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry (A, C), Advanced Electronic Materials, Inorganic Chemistry, The Journal of Physical Chemistry C.

  Additional description of the group:

  The group currently has a laboratory area of 350 m2 and owns a powder X-ray diffractometer with high temperature attachment, Walker-type multi-anvil Mavo press LPR 1000, Solartron AC impedance analyzer and electrochemical interface, low-temperature electrical properties measurement system, TG and DSC instrument, computation facility for theoretical calculation and other synthetic equipment. The materials college has the right to award the PhD degree in materials science and engineering and owns a Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of New Processing Technology for Nonferrous Metals and Materials, which are well instrumented by powder X-ray diffractometer attached with high-temperature furnace, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and other large equipments. The group has built close research collaboration with the French CEMHTI laboratory, the USA NIST neutron center, Chemistry and Molecular Engineering College of Peking University and other well-known domestic and foreign scientific research institutes.
